Vitesse Semiconductor to Be Added to S&P MidCap 400

March 25, 1999--Standard & Poor's Financial Information Services will
make the following changes in the S&P MidCap 400, S&P SmallCap 600 and
S&P REIT Composite Indexes:

SmallCap 600 component Vitesse Semiconductor Corp. <VTSS.O> will replace Ocean Energy Inc. <OEI.N> in the MidCap 400 after the close of trading on March 30.

Aspen Technology Inc. <AZPN.O> will replace Vitesse Semiconductor in the SmallCap 600. Ocean Energy is merging with MidCap 400 component Seagull Energy Corp. <SGO.N>.

VTSS was added to the Nasdaq-100 on 12/14/98 and now S&P MidCap-400.
Next stop: S&P 500.

Good morning Chuzzlewit. Thanks for the heads up!
I've never gone back and figured out how my trades compare to just holding with taxes in mind. I think i'll do that. I've only been actively(somewhat) trading a very small portion of my holdings for the last 7-8 months. I still hold mostly Dell, some Vtss and Prgy now.
I am able to put 2k/month into the market and plan to diversify from here. Thanks again for the info.
