Thanks, Bob. I am very disenchanted with Cyber. I don't blame the tech support people - they are very professional, very helpful and do all they can.

However, when it comes to the crunch - I need a system that breaks down significantly less than Cyber. I don't care what the reason is - bottom line, if the system cannot function more reliably, it IS NOT SUITED for a daytrader who needs to make a living from trading.

I've been trading for over a year now, with several brokers. I have come to the conclusion that Datek is (at least at this point) by FAR the best broker for daytraders (and position traders).

WHATEVER the reason for the technical problems at Cyber - my trading has been affected in a negative way. That hits me in the pocket.

If Cyber does not fix their problems by the end of April - I will be satisfied that they are simply not an effective broker for a daytrader. I will leave, and I am quite sure many others will. Word of mouth is a powerful thing. I get many PMs asking me for recommendations. You can be sure I'll be quite candid about my experiences.

I am also becoming a bit suspicious of Cyber management. It seems to me, they issue reassurances "temporary problems" that string people along for months. This is BS. I'm tired of the excuses. I'm beginnig to suspect this is a tactic - string people along. FIX the damn system. Put in the resources. However, I have a bad feeling, Cyber doesn't have the resources to build a robust system... after all, isn't it a bit funny they don't even have an 800 number? Remember, not all brokers are extremely profitable. Remember Block Trading (who, incidentally used Cyber software) - they went under, because they didn't have the resources.

Bottom line - I am giving Cyber a FIRM deadline. If the problems are not resolved, I leave, and I won't keep quiet. I'll let people know. They'll be in for some bad PR.

The stringing along will have to stop. End of April - FIX it.
