Jedi master has spoken!

INKT boune off from 50sma, 20sma, lower bb 9sma, turn up stochs from below 20.

The breakout helps too.

Report dates YHOO 4/7 ATHM & INKT 4/15 so looks like pre-earnings run has started.

EXDS reports 4/21, splits 4/12 so I guess you will hold the shares till the earnings.

I think the market is now in the process of Q end, April funds flush run up, and this should last till 4/9 and the SPX should top out near 1350-60.

Now to decide between INKT, DCLK, EXDS calls.

nice.. very nice.. AMZN went VERTical And EXDS yelled YHOOO.

I saw an interesting article recently about block sizes with regards to institutions. I'll have to dig it up on one of the day trading threads. Basically the article said that the larger players have their hands tied in today's market and are actually buying in quantity broken down into retail sized looking blocks. I think you might find the article interesting. I did.

>>Responses ONEM I revisited the tick by tick and 1 minute charts and didn't see any patterned fund buys or any large block buying. The only fund involvement I saw was on the selling side. <<

You are assuming an IPO feeding frenzy to look like regular trading. In the space of 5-10 secnds the price cna move 1-2 points back and forth. A fund can put up a buy for 20000 shares and it can get filled with 100 shares 200 times.. You are not going to see any kind of block buys then. I saw the institutions push the price up from 40. There was some dumps, but nothing close to the large buys.

In fact when NETA drooped the other day I saw Schwab comming in with 30-40k buy bids which were quickly taken over by 200-300 share sells. its the funniest thing to see, kinda like a giant shark with its mouth open and all the little fish just jump in and the shark becomes smaller and smaller till it goes away.

Here's a link to a post and article on the topic of identifying fund/institutional buying as I promised. I found it very interesting indeed. I think you will too. The bottom line is you can't ID their buying anymore. I'm going to post this on the ONEM thread too. Happy trading.
