I am of the opinion that TA and FA by themself are useless; you have to combine them together if you expect to be successful. I remember resisting the urge to buy into HOW rally when it broke above a long term resistance level, because I did not (and still don't) like their fundamentals. Less than two week later the gapped down like there was no bottom on a negative pre-announcement.
