Agree, but in 1994 selling AMD assets and investing proceeds in Intel (instead of buying the K-6 company, what's its name) would have been a killer move. Not bad in '97 either. I suspect it would be pretty good now, but Jerry has blown far too many assets, and there's that damned class action suit for $2 billion. Intel has made more paper profit from investing in MU last fall than AMD has made in several years.
