my little crystal ball never fails me.

Well, you might be right, but statements like the above are a counterindicator.

I think a credible argument can be made that CSCO is currently overvalued. On the other hand, I have a hard time reconciling that argument with a rotation into ATHM. ATHM is not a value play, to put it mildly. Suppose that the market does become value-sensitive enough to drop CSCO to, say, $70. What kind of price do you think ATHM, which lost $1.95 per share last year, and which has a price/sales ratio of over 2000, will fetch? I submit you'll be clutching your crystal balls in agony, and wishing you'd stayed in CSCO!

I get paid brother.I just make the calls

Implication being that you're a broker. Am I right? It would explain a few things.

Like I said I'll be back here in a few months to remind you of my astute call and I will be judged then.

IF you're right. If you turn out wrong I won't be expecting to hear from you again.

If you noticed I'm not trashing csco I'm just making a call.

Whatever.

All I ask is you give me some credit.

How about you actually demonstrate having earned it. Something from prior to the close Feb. 11 this time.

Funny thing about Dell. For all its woes it's still up 4.5% for the year-to-date. The S&P500 is up 4.9%. If this is a dancing-in-the-streets I WAS RIGHT, I WAS RIGHT, I'M THE KING OF THE WORLD kind of triumph for you, maybe you need to raise your standards a bit. Or switch to decaf.

I would be the first to give you credit if you could state your case. However you're simply placing a wager on the table. You have stated no basis for your position. You are weak. You can go now.

KYA27

It's obvious that you do not work in the technology fields by your banter.

You would have to be pretty ignorant not to see the commanding lead Cisco has in the networking business. LU is possibly a great competitor (notice I say possibly). They have not been around long enough as a public entity to prove out yet in my book.

This sector has a lot of room for growth, after all network traffic is growing over 1000% a year right now!

I would agree that DELL's business is at the mercy of the PC business but they have the best business model in that area.

You sound more like a trader than an investor.

I wouldn't touch the vast majority of the "internet stocks". The vast majority will not exist in the next ten years.

Eric
