If CNBC-TV in the United States reported that EBAY story, what kind of wave of American onslaught can we expect tomorrow from the USA, buying BID.COM shares??? It won't take then long to hunt down Bid.Com. If the Bid.Com price moves in closer to US$18.00/share, will that mean , EBAY will be forced to raise the stakes? It's not as if they are not loaded with BILLIONS of DOLLARS $$$.( I hope it remains a rumor for weeks, what away to get BID.COM's name around the USA).What a splash BID.COM could make on day #1 on the NASDAQ.!!!Don't get to excited about that US$18.00/sh. she would more than that on the 1st. day of the NASDAQ, with all the free advertising.???

Good Evening all.
Damn meetings have kept me away from all of this "fun", which seems to be getting out of hand.
For the First time since January, I am not going to read every message posted, as I am 300 posts behind. I only read the last 50 or so, so now I need to catch up.

This CNBC thing: Was this really stated? and how was it stated as fact or rumor:

"CNBC and 1 is reporting that EBAY is preparing a $18 US bid for what they refer to as "a small internet auction company from Canada"...
