Wouldn't you want to see a big short position on it before it moves up?

Although a short squeeze is great for running up stocks fast I have no idea why you would want a big short position on any stock you owned unless you knew something the shorts didn't (insiders info). If there was a huge short position on a cash rich stock selling below its cash value I would really start to worry that I had missed something in my DD. In my opinion having no shorts means that the bears don't think it has much room to move down which is a good thing. However many large shorts are not listed for us (retail crowd)to see. The large short positions are often taken down by house that don't need to list the short since they have it covered by shares owned by their clients. Although I look at the short report I never believe it represents the true shorts on out on a stock. Of course in the case of JDX I would find it hard to believe that any house would have the balls to short them other than for a quick day flip on a large run-up.

Best Regards
