No, I read this thread to see if there really is any possibility that AMD might actually turn itself around. And from what I read on here, it is NOT. It's all wishful speculation and "wait 'til next quarter". Meanwhile, INTC keeps churning out the $$$$$.

Let me ask you this: Do you really believe AMD will produce the K-7 on time, in volume, and profitably? They haven't with any chip yet. I remember all the talk about "sharptooth", yada, yada, yada. It's almost Q2 and still trying to get it out in volume, why will K-7 be different?

As I have gathered from this thread, these "Celery" devices are supposed to be selling at very low price and have very high manufacturing costs, but Intel has been making about $2B dollars of profit for at least two quarters now. What makes you think Intel won't be doing so any more?
