# of AMD shares short

Last time I looked, there were about 15 million AMD shares short. I think this number was from Feb. 15.

As of Mar. 8, there were 12.4 million AMD shares short.

However, the thing that needs to be taken into consideration is that AMD announced the "significant loss" on that same day. Obviously, after that news came out, more people probably went short.
