Skeets:

You asked the question that I've been digging into for several months,....why not sell ahead through the variety of methods that are at the disposal of sophisticated players?

While it may not be totally accurate, I'm satisfied with the information that I've acquired which is that the terms of the deal were extremely "tight" on this particular point and that to disregard the restrictions would have been "punitive". The street can be as leaky as a sieve, especially with information of this nature. Keep in mind who the big owners of this stock are,....very big institutions,.....who also own big chunks of INTC and TXN stock. An unhappy fund could do beaucoup damage to either INTC's or TXN's stock if they decided to be ornery.

The selling is going to be very intensive, once this show gets underway.

Best, Earlie
