At last Aug 27 shareholder meeting, Len Perham said...

IDTI should be profitable again by the end of March quarter.

Zack's shows the one analyst following IDTI predicts break-even.
Last quarter estimate was -0.15 and IDTI only lost 6 cents/share.
Having put money into IDTI for 10 years, I've finally begun to
lose faith, but insider optimism convinced me to give the company
another year to turn things around. They have six months left.
If I need capital losses for tax year 99, I'll start with my $15 IDTI
shares. I'd be pleasantly surprised if that paper loss vanishes.

Market as a whole doesn't look real healthy. Are the new high, new low
statistics in Yahoo Market Digest the 52-week numbers? They show
today NYSE 24 new highs, 82 new lows; Nasdaq 64 highs, 103 lows.
Plenty of companies not participating in this bull market.

However IDTI fares, I hope to be in town for the next shareholder
meeting. I suspect the jury will still be out, i.e. things won't
be wonderful yet but wait til next year...
