I have no special explanation other than what LoD stated earlier and that is-PC sector lead the market yesterday and today they took a break, well deserved or not I can't say.

Jerry,

Such disparity does not bode well for Dell stock. You are correct in noticing the lack of momentum. Be careful. I'd put a stop at yesterday's lows or just sell it. I believe the PIG and LT were correct in suggesting Dell longs sell into the rally today. Only time will tell.

I am very concerned about Dell's performance today and what it might mean short term. Just bought some calls yesterday. I will be looking to sell them quick if Dell falls tomorrow. Dell may also have been caught up in some negative news regarding Compaq.

I sure hope that today's performance is not the start of a fall into the mid thirties or lower.

It seemed like a rather odd decline to me -- slow and steady; as if someone was unloading a large block in small chunks. Usually when people run away from a stock en masse, you see big downdrafts. Could this be MD unloading some of the shares he has declared he would sell? It would make more sense for him (or any other big holder looking to lighten their position) to sell into an up market. Thoughts?

See quicken.excite.com for a picture of the whole thing.
