Buffet,,,,,

The principals HAVE to refute any rumour because they are not allowed to be party to the rumours...that is they can not help speculate, they must report FACT only....as of today, the fact is that NO, there was no proposal or bid to purchase tendered by EBAY....they can't very well say "yes it's true, EBAY is putting an offer together for BID.com"

Now everyone else....let's not lose our heads (although it is hard not to in all this frenzy)...$100.00 per share offer is too high (although I, along with all of you would just LOVE it). My guess...and it is strictly a guess...is that IF an offer were to be made it would be in the $15.00 to $25.00 US range....why? If the float is roughly 50 million shares then $100.00 US (or approx 140 CDN) would value the company at about $700,000,000! No way! Even a 51% controlling interest would place a value of about 375 million. Now a $20US offer would put that valuation at about 150 million and 51% would be roughly 80 million....more or less... and definitely more reasonable. These numbers are strictly quick "guestimates" so please...no shots to my head! (I still would love tripe digits though...hehe)

Comments anyone?????
