Possible Internet Software Company Partner?

Hi Bob, I'm a new member on SI and am decidedly long on TSIG. Ever since your March 10th meeting with RG, I've been speculating on what possible internet software company TSIG might partner with. Hmmm, let's look at some facts:

(1)On January 14, Oracle announced a 100M Venture Fund "to promote innovation by companies developing products and services based on Oracle 8i database.... Oracle plans to partner with established venture capital firms to promote innovative Internet products and services focused on areas including content management, e-commerce, business intelligence and other end-to-end Internet solutions... the Fund will source, execute and manage equity investments in both newly-formed companies choosing Oracle as their primary technology platform, as well as more mature companies seeking to develop new product and services or re-architect existing offerings based on Oracle technology."

(2) Oracle also offers state-of-the-art Call center application software, and

(3) John Hwang has contacts at Oracle from past working relationships...

I for one would pay to be a fly on the wall if RG and John Hwang would ever get the chance to get in front of Oracle CEO Larry Ellison, or another high-ranking Oracle executive. There seems to be a great deal of potential synnergy here, particulary in light of Oracle's desire to expand in e-commerce and TSIG's intent to offer outsourced e-commerce solutions. I guess we'll just have to stay tuned!
