Good points, often cited:

-how do they get revenue?
-what are their cost?

Or better, is their business model viable?

What I indeed expect is that they put an ad page in front of the fax page view, get ads on their homepage etc, to generate revenue there.
Then they can sell addresses and the additional info they get out of the fax connections they get.

Little is known about their own costs for telephony, with estimates between $5 and $20 - monthly. As the lines are incoming and they may assign numbers to shared lines, they will have lower unit costs.

The company didn't unveil what their plans are and so we will have to wait until the next earnings release... If they care for their shareholders, they would give timely guides on signups and, in general the viability of their venture, besides a quick takeout ...

Alan:<<The question is: how does efax get revenue? How much does the service cost to provide?>>

Hey Alan, good questions. Why not fax them and find out?<gg> Actually, since you live near their office why not call them and see what they tell you? All we ask is that you report back to us here as to what you found out. Thanks, Jeff
