CIEN has not generally traded with the market since I've been following it (since last summer). Even when its price is not reacting to rumors, it has been operating on its own cycle. IMO, of course.

If I am any indication, I think a "buyers strike" could cause CIEN to continue to trade sloppy until/if the Omnia & Lightera deals close. At this point I have no confidence that the anticipated dilution will not get worse. i.e some form of adjustment in shares issued to compensate for negative stock price movement. Until this uncertainty is resolved I do not know how much I am paying for this company nor can I say for sure WHAT I am buying. Too many ???? for this puppy to trade with market.
