Gary, I don't know about the profits. I want to see them first. My guess is they are making a nice gross profit, but not net. They are truly a phenom and they are going to make life miserable for everyone. The only reason I see them not going into corporate boxmaking is lack of supply. They will get there and game be over when they do. MB

The crazy thing is, the Dell thread is not threatened. I especially liked the reply likening Emachines to Hyundai and Dell to Daimler -- that fellow clearly neglected to extend his analogy to P/E ratios. If Dell drops to a DCX-level P/E, Dell investors may be a mite disappointed. Liking the auto analogy more and more.. -mb

That's trouble for the computer makers. Emachines has gained significant market share. Microworkz gets over 7 million inquires about its $299 PC. FreePC gets over a million inquires. HP jumps into the Sub $600 PC market.

Micron Elec. keeps ASP's high, but revenues drop big time as a result of poor sales. PC prices are going lower.
