Gottfried, We should collect introductory PnF material because people are beginning to ask about it.

I obtained written permission from Tom Dorsey to use three of the Chapters of his book to teach the NAIC Investment Club members which I belong. I made overhead transparencies and took 4 sessions of 1 1/2 hours per session to teach the DW method. Tom's book and feedback was extremely important in learning the method. The major difficulty was the understanding of the bell shaped curve and elementary statistics since some of the participants had no exposure what so ever regaining statistics or the bell shaped curve.

Since the Clubs broker subscribed to the Full DW report which is released almost every Thursday I had the supportive data from Tom regarding his interpretation of the data in addition to his diagram of sectors making the bell shaped curve.

My suggestions for those interested in the DW process is to go to the techstock site by keying in Point and Figure Charting paying particular attention to Wizzard, Ms. X, Jay Ball (Tom Dorsey posts), Duke60, you and others on the site.

Also, interested individuals should go to dorseywright.com and register for the two week trial after ordering and reading Tom's book. The DW method along with tracking the IBD data and discussion on this site sure has helped me make some $$$. However, homework is required.

Just my opinions.

Paul
