BH: As a young(er) man, I remember being counseled to never write my own resumé. I think Bob Grenier has an easier time speaking in awe of FNTN's global potential than Michael Sheppard, himself.
IMO, Michael is a humble man with no penchant for self-promotion. When we met, I found him to be cautious in his projections and controlled in his adjectives, yet possessed with an air of confidence, competence, focus and enthusiasm. There was no hype from this man, and in fact, he had great concern that I would somehow embellish FNTN's then current reality in my own translation of the facts blended with my own enthusiasm.
At the time, I thought he was too cautious and too modest for his own good.
In retrospect, I now understand that MS has a definite goal in mind and his own deliberate speed to get there. The company has survived despite its humble and jumbled pre-Michael Sheppard origins - so to this point, Michael Sheppard's style and talents have served him and FNTN, well.

As for knowing what the fruits of MS's hard labor will bring and when..
If you were a gambler and knew you were going to win every time you played a hand of blackjack, you wouldn't enjoy playing anymore. The gamble would be out of gambling.
Yeah, sure - you'd enjoy the money.. but not the game.
To be a fly on the wall in Ardsley would be great,
but who would want to go and spoil the surprise ending?......
Changed my mind.
I've had enough surprises.
Somebody turn to the back of this book!

Regards,
Wally
