I think Greenspan did them (3 times) right. The fundamental structure of the economy is changing. More investment on the hi-tech yield richer society, technology advance of human being, more service centric life. We are moving away from working for the need of our body (food, clothes....) and focusing more on the richness of our soul.

The inflation rate I think (correct me if I'm wrong) are calculated on the daliy neccessary things like foods, clothes, ..... They are stable simply that technology, instead of labors in the older days, make it cheaper.

Market overheat or not, leave it to the efficiency of the market itself to resolve.

IMO.
