*just one guy's thought*

Have you ever actually visited and browsed, or perhaps PURCHASED anything from either ebay.com or bid.com?? In my opinion, bid.com has a MUCH BETTER and USER-FRIENDLY website than ebay.com

Perhaps BID.COM should be buying EBAY.COM

um, not to start any RUMOURS or anything natch..

:)
G'nite.

Now try to imagine this.

There's a Nasdaq IPO coming out that is a VERY established internet play, and they're going to let you buy it ahead of everyone else for only $6.40 US.

Sounds wayyyyy too good to be true? You're ABSOLUTELY right. It is. But if BII were to be listed today, that would be the price! Put in this perspective, I would say that BII's price is still incredibly low thinking in U.S. $$$ terms.

I think it's time to start truly thinking in terms of what is possible once trading on Nasdaq, as well as the U.S.$$$ equivalent. Think what would would be a reasonable ipo on Nasdaq, and then convert that back into Canadain dollars. In this light, BII is still a great bargain.

Now start thinking what happens when the stock actually starts trading, and what has typically happened to almost all the Nasdaq listed internet plays.....and then convert THAT back into Canadian dollars!!! In THIS light, BII becomes an almost unimaginable steal at it's current level.

At this point, it's NOT where BII has come from, but much more where it is NOW headed. As I said the other day, I bought in (further) as BII showed a certain critical mass that I needed to see. From here, it's a whole new ball game, where the rules are altogether different.

If you think that a $6.50 U.S. Nasdaq Internet IPO (that you could participate in) could only be an unimaginable pipe dream, well, it's not. It's trading right here...and right now.....on the TSE!!!

<GGGGG!!>

Do you think eBay being awarded top auction spot with AOL in a 75 million deal today is part of reason eBay would want to take over BII?
