Pac Bell botching up xDSL deployment "Pac Bell acknowledged that the DSL rollout has not gone as smoothly as planned and attributed it to enormous demand" ''We have experienced some process problems, as customers called in in greater numbers than we expected,'' said McLeland. He added the company has ''all but fixed these problems.'' sfgate.com Sounds like a few customers griping. At least Pac Bell says the reason deployment is going poorly is because demand is much stronger than expected. Elroy
