Bongagong,
Can't solve your riddle, but you posted the info on BLI back in January shortly after starting this thread. It is my impression from reading the posts that you've been in this since Jan.
Given that TMRT plans to debut a new, yet different, auction site it still leaves me wondering "where's the beef?"
There are plenty of red flags, even if the info has come from newspaper articles. None of it has been favorable. And there has been plenty of opportunity for anyone to lay out the positive side. Not even you have presented any meaningful argument to support a bullish stance on this stock. Is there basis for suggesting that TMRT can come out of the blocks, in a crowded field dominated by EBAY, and succeed? Can they reasonably be expected to attract the traffic and advertising to suggest that the stock will move significantly higher? Forget the short term volatility we are seeing now, once the site is open, where will the actual business forcasts take the stock?
The stock today represents a market cap somewhere between 500 and 600 million. Why should it be higher, why should it be significantly higher. TMRT compared itself directly to ONSL, UBID and EGGS in the 1/21/99 release. They each have sites and are doing business. The current market cap of TMRT is essentially EQUAL to these three (UBID-$681mm, ONSL-$693mm, EGGS-$599).
How about putting forth some meaningful details. For instance, it was stated that Magliarditi has a been involved with several public companies. How about letting us in on which ones. Is there some positive info on this guy? I haven't found any. Do you have confidence in him and his vision to take this company to a level that would actually be competitive with EBAY?
I got no axe to grind here with TMRT, but the info available leads me to bet with the shorts. But, you should know that I bet with the shorts on EBAY for a short period of time also, and I was glad to get out of the way of that train! <g>
I would love to hear the positive story on this company, but so far noone has been willing to put it out there.
So, do you have anything for us other than riddles?
