tech2000, the public sentiment has shifted in MSFT's favor. Bill Gates now appears too loveable to tear apart. This stock is like deja vu all over again, I remember buying this baby last year in the 80's after a split and here we go again. Just wish that MSFT was in the 40's like DELL where the real accumulation could begin, now I have too much DELL and not enough MSFT and AOL. If we get a settlement after the split we could set a new one-day price gain, IMO.

Tech,

I think that MSFT will end up in positive territory today for sure. The market condition will determine how far it will go. I actually bought another small batch at 178 using margin a few minutes ago.

I find out that selling puts is a great way to make $$$ in this market. I usually sell a position that then write puts when it dips 10-15%. I wrote some Apr. 100 and 110 AOL puts and YHOO! Apr. 140 puts on Wednesday. Those are the two stocks that I want to buy back..so why not try to buy them at a discount with a premium? Will try MSFT later next week.

As far as option trading goes, I have seen too many people losing all their gains within days or even hours...so a meager gain is always better than a loss, any kind of loss.

good luck,
larry!
