Do not fret over Lycos. CNBC had a piece on Wetherall and their strategy yesterday and it said DW was on vacation. They indicated that he has privately told people that the situation may be sorted out before the shareholder vote in July. But it isn't a bad strategy to just wait it out. Either that or CMGI pays some "go away" money to Diller and then he's free to pursue another course like bringing together a group of owners. If he loses this fight (Diller doesnt increase his offer or the shareholders vote YES), then you should worry. The stock is behaving very well under this scenario, so patience my friend is what we need here.

Does DW want Diller as a large co-holder? Doubt it. Once the vote goes through, and is hopefully voted down, Diller doesn't have a leg to stand on. CMGI can move as they please. Right now, Diller has a slight advantage, but it is a waiting game. I think CMGI will let the shareholders slay the dragon. Then comes the reward for their help. Just MHO...
