Regarding this takeover talk from EBAY gives me negative heebee jeebies. Those are butterflies in my stomach.
I agree where theres smoke theres fire.
I have a suspicion that if its going to followed through with, that it might be an unsolicited one. Unless of course AOL is in bed with EBAY on this one; which can and seems very likely.
But just think about this folks. If a bid was offerred for Bii today or in the very near future, say next week, we will still get to the Nasdaq before the deal closes. Therefore, the exposure and listing on the nasdaq could very likely provide us with the exposure and gains we all believe are possible with bii.
And, its quite possible that a bidding war may ensue with bii, because of its unique features, Think of all the other auction houses that may want a piece. Even the portals that are looking to align themselves with an Auction company.
But, I still would want at least a year under our belt to have been trading on the Nasdaq by ourselves. Godin is not in control of this and he has explicitly said that the bigger boys dictate the control of bii. So sad....
