Danny,
Keep an eye on WAST to-day.Nice steady movement upwards since Tuesday.

Off Topic:-Without searching all over for the link does anyone have the requirements to maintain a listing on the national Cap Market of Nasdaq.Something tells me it is a dollar there.I am referring to WAST and concerned that they now have to move it above 1.00 to retain the listing. Is this true?????

Long and holding,

Osprey

Daniel, I hope you take this as it is intended; a friendly post.

This idea that you have that "everybody" buys stock and then tells other people to buy it is not correct.

It is true that you are not "frontrunning"; technically, frontrunning is what brokers do when they get a big order from a client and then take a position prior to the execution of the order. It's a Bad Thing.

As a matter of fact, there is a lot of what you are doing that a securities firm can't do. There are strict requirements for registered stockbrokers regarding investing in penny stocks, making "recs" (as you call them) , and fiduciary duty to their clients.

But, you are correct, some people do what you do on SI; pick a deal, buy it, then tell lots of other people, hoping that the buying will drive the price up. I know it's exciting for you.

There are, however, other people that run threads that have a different way of operating. Part of it involves this thing called "ethics", and part of it involves what is called an "entry point". You will learn more about ethics as you go along, just as we all do, it's part of what happens to most of us as we go through life.

Daniel, there are always people that play this game that you are playing that are much smarter than you. They have been playing and winning since before you were born. They don't care how long they have to wait to take your money, because they know that eventually, they will. You, at this point, don't know much about them, but I guarantee they know your name, and they want your money.

Some people you talk to will have the attitude that this game we play is war, and there are no rules. "Everybody is in it for the money." They think that everyone plays by the same rules. But I am here to tell you that those people are wrong. There is something more important than money. It's called honor. People that don't care about honor, people that don't care about ethics, people that "know" "everybody else" is a crook inside, they will tell you that I'm lying to you.

But I'm not.

You have chosen a path to walk down, a "stockpicker" and "guru", and that is your right, but you should be aware that just because you are criticized, it does not automatically make you right. Now matter how smart you think you are, there is somebody out there that is smarter, and he is waiting patiently for you to make a mistake with your money and the money of the people you are advising.

You have a following. At some point in the future, maybe next week, maybe 5 years from now, somebody will call you on the phone and suggest some tactic for making extra money. It will be a tactic that you can't talk about publicly , and it will be something that will require a little compromise on your part. You'll see it as a kind of line that you will have to step over; a little decision that could shape your future. You'll know that it is wrong.

Before you step over that line, Whiz Kid, make sure you understand what you are getting into, because it's easier to walk down that road than it is to walk back. Tell 'em Uncle TLC said to say "No."

Good luck.

Daniel, how do I get to a chart where I can look at the volatility of the stock. The Bollinger Bands as you called them. How are they looking right now on ABFG.
