just checked my futures... yea. April gold down 2.50.. ouch. as I said yesterday... I expected a selloff in bullion today. THe gold shares should remain flat OR rise if I am correct about next week's move.

I agree hype is BAD. I hope you don't think I am "hyping" gold. Besides.. it is a little hard to hype something at a 20 yr low -g-

I just think the dollar is doomed and the large short position in gold should also add fuel to the fire. I see a L-T bull mkt in gold in both dollar terms and on a real basis beginning. Fiat currencies have only been around for 30 yrs. For all of history previous to that, currencies were based on gold and silver (actually more silver). I tend to think thousands of yrs of history might rear their ygly heads again... ie- reversion to the mean.
