>>> Susan, do you think that the volatility of recent world events would reduce the chance of a gap up Monday?

I personally discount it as an "nonevent" / stockwise

>>> I thought that historically Monday's were down days and the recent couple of months were out of character.

that may or may not be true for long term investors ... but we are in a bull market, and short term traders ... and only during the "correction" days do Monday's open down.

It never hurts to have cash as you cannot lose with cash ... if you feel more secure out of the market that is your decision. I am a gambler/trader and like the odds. So far they have paid me off very well.

I have been posting about gappa Monday's for the last 15 weeks

only one has not been a (at open) gappa Monday.

other opinions welcome.
