Glenn and others: I apologize if this is a stupid question, but what, if anything, do these large swings in the DOW and NASDAQ which seem to occur on a daily basis anymore (i.e.1 % or so at least) have on the long term market. It is my understanding that market vol. is higher now then ever, and I wonder if this is a positive or negative long term occurance. Maybe it means nothing, in that people buying on dips are doing well and people selling into strength are also.
