TOKYO (AFX-ASIA) via NewsEdge Corporation -
NTT Mobile Communications Network (NTT DoCoMo) shares were higher, buoyed by LM Ericsson Telefon AB and Qualcomm Inc reaching agreements resolving all disputes globally between them relating to Code Division Multiple Access technology.

At 12:50 pm, NTT DoCoMo was up 120,000 yen at 5.95 mln yen, off its high of 6.15 mln.

The Nikkei 225 index was down 68.61 points at 15,917.43.

Ericsson said it and Qualcomm agreed to jointly support a single world CDMA standard with three optional modes for the next generation of wireless communications.
