Craig, I think the solution to the problem of having the new windows overwrite any preexisting new windows when clicking on links within the BrowseMaster window (when the new window option is turned on) is to use a magic target name. Try using
target=_blank
instead of
target=new
as now.

I did not try this but I think if it works it is a good idea because I, too, often collect other links while reading via BrowseMaster. I don't want to interrupt reading the thread for them right then but rather just accumulate the open windows for perusal later. The _blank target creates a nameless new window which therefore won't be overwritten by windows opened by subsequent links like it would be when given an arbitrary name like new.
