Interesting trading in the stock today. A 15,000 share block was swapped at $17.75/$17.875. A patient buyer seems to be accumulating shares at just below $18. Small amounts of stock seem to be for sale at or just above $18.

I would really love to see the pattern of large block swaps to continue for the next couple of weeks. The last time I saw a pattern like this was when I was investing in PLAB. After a period of accumulation the stock run up almost 100%.

Another interesting trend seems to be a little strength coming into the Russell 2000. When the small caps come into a little more favor it will be the strongest of the small caps that will lead the way. I believe SBSE could be one of these leaders.

Finally, I was checking the SEC filings and found that a couple of big players have accumulated nice positions in the stock. These include:

Munder Capital Management: 422,775 shares
Solomon Smith Barney: 297,280 shares
Standish, Ayer & Wood: 333,400 shares

Compared to last years filings these folks seem to be new investors.

Finally a glimmer of hope has appeared!!!

Best of luck to the long suffering.

Chris ....

Mark B., did you enjoy the roller-coaster ride on Radisys in the past week? Did SBSE move up to my break-even point finally in sympathy with the 4 point Radisys move yesterday, or does it have something to do with SBSE?
