Doug, that is a very strong statement, does it come from ASM? I must have missed this. Frankly, I find it hard to believe. Which laser goes into each scanner or stepper is determined most of the time by the end user. Since this is one of the most critical part of the whole machine, the end user would want to ascertain that local support is available at all time. My guess would be that unless CYMI "pissed off" some major buyers, they will still win the post installation service and thus win the orders as well. But then, what do I know?

I must have missed your earlier post where you said this. Can you provide a link to it?

As far as I know, this is extremely imaginative speculation on your part. Lambda is incapable of producing half of the lasers ASML would need. This is a fact.
