In a 15-minute message broadcast via satellite in English, Serbian and Russian, Clinton blamed Milosevic who ''has diminished your country's standing, exposed you to violence and instability, and isolated you from the rest of Europe.''

''Hopefully, he will realize that his present course is unsustainable. Ultimately, it is self-destructive.''

I had to read the above twice to find out if it was Clinton talking
about Milosevic or visa versa.

I hope the US knows what the hell it is doing.

I hope so too. But I doubt it. I'm embarrassed for our country. How do we make clear to the world that the American people have no part in this? I'm just surprised that we haven't yet seen a resumption of Vietnam Era protests. What's the matter with our college kids these days? <g>
