OT: Charles, I find it hard to believe that NATO is not prepared for what the networks are now describing as a continued ground advance by the Serbs into Kosovo, a land they perceive as sacred, a land they have been living on for centuries, the backyard they grew up in. Can NATO not be prepared for this? How can they be so confident that air power will stop it? I fear a strategic blunder. How many days will it take the Serbs to gain military control of Kosovo on the ground. I'd say two or three weeks at the most, even under the air fire of NATO. I don't know how much of a stand the KLA will make. Fleeing refugees will confuse the matter, making bombing and air strikes more difficult as Serbs and refugees are on the move in every direction. Once the Serbs have stationed their armor throughout Kosovo, its over. I pity the innocents caught in this. j.
