Actually, Barton Biggs said - Fools are dancing on the Street, and even bigger fools are watching from the sidelines. I used to dismiss his bear talk very lightly, but he has been right on the last 3 occasions. He saw the problems in Asia far in advance. He foresaw the beginning of the recovery earlier also. In his bi-weekly report (that I get from MSDW) he also got nervous ahead of Brazil's devaluation. He is currently "befuddled" as to why the investors in large cap/big name companies continue to ignore risks (something that has confused me too) - even those with poor revenue/earnings growth rates (SUNW is certainly not one of them).

I think current valuations for SUN are easily justifiable when you look at the hype / frenzy in the e-commerce sector. Too many small investors are itchy to pull the trigger on any sell-off and trade in and out. Hey, I consider myself a passive investor and I do a couple of option trades a week as opposed to a couple every month about a year ago. SUN , Intel, ASND are still my largest long positions , but I have to admit I am about 60% cash currently. So the market volatility has not affected me lately.

Regards

Alok
