sure...i agree with everything you say.......several years back, folks were discussing the likely potential of companies like Microsoft and DELL .... and I'm sure there were people(as if they would tell others what to do with their money) suggesting to others to take profits way too early as well.......

Raven-I was long on IDEC stock 3 years before Rituxan came on the market, and what you're saying about the correlation of no news to dwindling stock price held true till about 6-9 months before FDA approval. Then the stock started moving on anticipation of news, and steadily climbed. I tried to out-guess the moves with that stock, and all I can say is you'd better be right, or you'll be left in the dust! I've learned my lesson, and I'm staying long, long-term (a lot less stressful). Also, it was my understanding that increased short interest is that those shorts are going to be on the wrong side of the market move...Anyway, good hunting-what would the market be without diverging outlooks? Boring! Roger
