Does Qualcom make their chip set? Who makes the chip for Qualcom? Does TXN make the Qualcom chipset?

Qualcomm handsets use its own MSM chipsets. Maybe TI DSPs can play a role in 3G handsets. The major benefit for TI in the QCOM/ERICY deal is that 3G will get kicked off in a couple of years. TI DSPs should at least find their ways into the base stations.
