bgr...re dell/analysts.. consider:...the down stream vendors to dell, intc, msft, are giving no warnings...this is a good indicator that their production is still used for bto/jit manufacturer as dell...sure dell issues blanket orders and releases as needed from vendors...believe analysts don't understand the food chain... meanwhile cpq hwp, ibm...complaining...gtw having problem with new amd chip...amd, cyrix..not so strong... retail sales claimed down...dell not a participant in this market.. thin margins at e-machines.. too many comparisons....but who can you truly compare dell to...lack of direction cpq?....amd powered gtw?...bloated ibm?....loss leader e-machines?..... good luck, ed a.
