jbe(ot), Agreed- I cannot figure out why we intervene when and where we do... Before Serbia I could see a distinction between the former Soviet Republics and Chechnya. That is the former USSR did not officially "release" Chechnya like the other states.

But then again Serbia did not officially "release" Kosovo from Yugoslavia- yet we are intervening. So that blows that distinction...

I had a couple of Kazakhs stay at my house two weeks ago,and interestingly they said that they kind of longed to return back into the fold of the USSR...That surprised me....

But firm gas prices do not surprise me- they reflect a tightening of the supply/demand equation actually a bit earlier in the year in North America than usually occurs in gas markets....

Guys/gals -Love to talk on this Thread- but I've got to get over to the SI/CNN Sandlot Baseball League Website and peruse the post-draft waiver wires and see if any good players got overlooked in our league draft last Wednesday... If you are playing against the "Noodle Dome Choke Valves", then you are playing against me....
