According to Sitra, when I spoke with him a few weeks back about the process for how ANYI (AYIC now?) will begin trading, is that the first thing that will happen is the symbol will show up to the MMs. In order for AYIC to show up, one MM has to have been given the go ahead to post it.

It looks like this has happened, we could be trading very shortly.

Then, according to Scott (call him yourself on this to confirm the details, I believe he can discuss this since its process stuff, not AYIC specific) one pre-selected MM only will be the first to start trading. I forgot the name of AYIC's MM, but its kinda small, can focus better on AYIC. the other MMs are not allowed to trade on AYIC for 30 days after trading begins unless they file some form, which several MMs have already filed. The secondary MMs can trade AYIC for the first 3 days through the primary MM, then sometime after that they can trade it themselves. I believe AYIC has at least 5~6 MMs which say they'll trade AYIC.

The important thing is that the first actual trading milestone looks like it has been reached. Time to get excited about AYIC!!!

BTW - one possibility, given that MMs jump on these things as fast as they can, is that if the SEC gave the go ahead, and the primary MM jumped on it the second he could post the symbol. IMO the SEC go ahead may have just happened, and AYIC hasn't even had a chance to issue the PR. I guess we could see after the bell today.

Good luck all:)

I don't know about anyone else, but it looks like AYIC may already be effective. This is how the status of my dividend shares changed in my DLJ account today:

Security Description: ANYTHING INTERNET CORP C/C EFF 3/25/99 ANYTHING INTERNET CORP CL A CU# 037351103
Security Type: STOCK
Account Type: CASH

I don't really know, but that "EFF" looks like its short for "EFFECTIVE", and I can now place orders to buy and sell AYIC with DLJ.

IMO ANYI is now effective. All that has to happen is a MM has to be willing to execute the order, and I'm not sure what the MMs need to begin doing this. It APPEARS they may be able to trade, but it is difficult to figure these things out.

I just placed my limit orders w/ DLJ to buy AYIC, we'll see if it gets executed I guess!?!? If something has happened with the SEC making AYIC effective it wouldn't be the first time Sitra/Yost were not imediately aware - the day the SEC filing showed up on Edgar, Sitra was still claiming it hadn't been filed to those who called him to find out what was up. I'm not saying AYIC is doing anything wrong or that they're not on top of things, I've just seen some things happen with the SEC doing things first, then telling people later. Anyone have and REAL experience or facts here. This is just my speculation, but something definitely did happen today.

I think AYIC has some ability to control the trigger on the MMs, so this may be the week were they'll do the press barrage, and maybe we'll trade by Friday? Who knows, still just speculation, but I do believe AYIC will trade this month, and I do believe BANY will have a very nice runup as people find out about its 26% ownership.

Good luck BANY longs, could be a great week for BANY/AYIC.
