Lagavulin - yeah that's it! OK, so where do I go to take a course in scotch?? Are they common? I've heard of wine tasting courses, but not scotch. Didn't realise scotch was so "complicated."

I've only been drinking "clear" liquor for quite a few years because of migraines, but lately I've been craving liquor from the dark side. I started drinking red wine again about a year ago with no ill effects, so maybe the coast is clear.

rude,

It was Laguvalin, you are correct. I recently purchased a bottle of Glennmorangie. They are producing a bunch of variants matured in different woods. Very nice...

In addition I purchased my first Laphroig. Nice marketing push... With the bottle, I purchased "One Square Foot" of the estate which the distiller then leases from me. Rental to be collected in person at the distillery.... What is the rental you ask? One dram of the finest liquid per annum!!

I liked the Laphroig more than the Glennmorangie. I am currently looking out for some Glennkinchie (sp?).

Kenya, I'll post some pics of the labels so that you can at least see before trying <G>

H

rudedog: Start your engine! <ggg> Three races in one day! YES!!! F1 GP of Brazil at 12:30 (which K doesn't get <<grrrrr>>), NASCAR on the short track at Bristol at 1:00 and best of all, CART does Japan at 5:30 - an oval! I know the CART race was actually yesterday, but don't tell me who won if you know.

If anyone watches the F1 race, any info you want to feed K would be appreciated.

Ms. K - TA
