Doug, I would not be surprised at some "defections", but I would guess this would not amount to 50% of ASM systems, they do not ship 50% of their systems into Asia, last time I checked. I was more surprised at the 50% number than the fact that Lambda and Komatsu, will try and establish a foothold (it is often done by giving essentially "freebies" or at cost systems). That was one reason I felt that the ASP recent increases will be reigned back within a year or two. But from that to conclude that CYMI will lose 50% of it shares in the same time frame, I am not sure is realistic, at least not at this point, IMHO.

Doug - Please re-read my original post, several Asian end users, which use ASM machines will be using Lamdba lasers towards year end on new ASM machines (or possibly as replacements for older CYMI lasers in used equipment).

I have read every one of your posts on the Cymer board back through October. I found no information about why you believed that Lambda won some orders, other than in the post to which I am responding (thanks). Did you post it in some other thread?
