Kenneth,

LOL
I agree, the "twit" scenario would be hard to prosecute.
These bozo's should be made to answer the hard ball questions next conference call though. That is if there still IS a Westell around to have a conference call ;)

In hindsight it certainly was a bad decision to invest in WSTL but who could have known or predicted how poor management was to be or that they simply would fail to execute time after time. I understand that the fault's not entirely theirs but still...........

MTA

Anyway, thank for the grin with the "twit" comments.

kenneth--

winning or losing is immaterial. i have little doubt we could win outright by using the take the company private thing. of course, gross mismanagement and lying to shareholders will also win us the suit.

there are a number of things they could have done...regardless of the market. but they didnt do them. thats sounds like mismanagement to me.

the reason why winning is immaterial is that a suit will destroy credibility. financing will be very difficult and telcos dont like signing contracts with vendors who might be sued out of existance.

good luck to all,
trey

>>Speaking of Seamans, it sure seems in hind sight, that even though we wailed and howled over his dumping of shares last year, he sure was sharper than most of us

You got that right. I laughed when I heard the managerial excuse that he was merely adjusting his portfolio. Just another thing to be suscipicious of with the mgmt at WSTL.
I think everyone here talked of how stupid it was for the guy to sell at 13 with such GREAT SUPPORT at 10! (Pretty good resistance now) Right now I'd take the bond interest he made with all those shares converted.
