Well, actually it "started" years, years ago. Certainly before WWI.

But I certainly don't defend the Serbians. Both sides have committed atrocities, as is unfortunately too common in ethnic civil wars. I believe that Serbia has committed more atrocities and more brutality.

But still, does that justify the bombings? That's the key question for today.

A random thought. What would have happened if six months or a year ago all the Nato countries had recognized Kosovo as an independent nation and invited it to join NATO? Or even just threatened to do that if Serbia didn't sign a viable peace accord?

Hmmmmmm.
