GZ, the American economy is all but sound. As the market goes so will the US economy go and not the other way around. The US is a speculators economy as was Japan in 1989

Corporation lie outright about their results (earnings) and on top of all this the P/E is more than twice the norm.

Some people just forgot that in the 1950's there was also low inflation and lots of prosperity.

I suspect that the US will learn a bitter lesson in the Balkans.

"How will Kosovo and a sound U.S. economy injure American industry?"

Well for one thing, we are making a lot of long term enemies around the world right now (Afghanistan, Iraq, Sudan, Yugoslavia, etc), and this can certainly come back to "haunt" us in the future in one form or another, including terrorism that would disrupt the markets. Yogi
