Snerd,

Their service is generally good and reliable, and they they try to
stay on top of things (for example, they started using a backup tape
when their clearing firm Southwest Securities was slow in updating
accounts, which messed up MB clients' buying power). And they send
out real-time advisories when situations arise such as the NASDAQ
quotes being slow or an ECN being down.

One thing I don't care much for is the ARCA ecn, which I used almost
exclusively at first and now rarely use. I think it is slow, and
sometimes active issues get bogged down with "chippies" on the bid or
offer. I've had better luck getting fills on Island. Also the
Southwest Securities account margin statements are rather confusing.

Overall though, I think MB is one of the better brokers to deal with.
