Miami-Dade County Courtroom Action

Hi everyone,

Well, Judge Kaye yawned, and several members of the jury nodded off as the witness was grilled by tobacco attorneys. "Transient short-term compensation," was the subject, yet no one really seemed to understand the explanations. The jury are made up of mostly African-Americans, and they were ecstatic when Judge Kaye announced that there would be no court on Monday, or April 1, 2, 7, 8, or 9.

It appears as though the case will probably drag on for another month or so. Stanley Rosenblatt locked eyes with me more than once, as I was the only "visitor" (I believe) in the reserved defense area. (Yes, doctor, I wore khaki slacks, a white oxford, and new white tennis shoes today!) My pocket US Constitution was displayed proudly in my front pocket, and several attorneys looked at it, then me. Afterward, I waited for the tobacco attorneys to congregate and we all took the same elevator down to the lobby. I reminded them just how important this case is to the shareholders. I also voiced my opinion that Rosenblatt is a parasite.

Now, for those of you who e-mail me at theo@bridge.net I will send you the latest Value Line survey of Philip Morris, the only stock ranked favorably for price performance in the year ahead!

Best regards,

Theo
